Through easy-to-understand basic principles and a lot of creativity, your young entrepreneur will learn all about starting their own business. It is never too early to start a business and feel the rewards of entrepreneurship. This course will outline essential tools and strategies while kids gain valuable knowledge and insights into being an entrepreneur. Students will develop decision-making skills while trying out their business model ideas and pitching them to our panel of instructors. Families have the option to select the price that works best for their individual situation. We know that youth benefit from participating in high-quality out-of-school time (OST) programs. OST programs keep kids safe and inspire them through continuous learning in safe and fun environments. We aim to remove financial barriers families may face when considering their involvement in youth programs. One of our strategies is a new payment option for families. When selecting the price for a Pick Your Price course, you can choose the best price for your situation. Regardless of the price selected, the course offered is the same for all students. There is no difference in instruction, supplies or what is offered in the course. We ask families to partner with us in this initiative and support one another by selecting the best price for their current financial situation. In this session, your child will learn about STEM and Programming concepts and will be challenged to build up to eight (8) different motorized Robotic and Engineering models. While building and programming these models, students will develop logical thinking abilities and will learn various engineering concepts like Kinetic/Potential Energy, Chain Transmissions, Angular momentum, Newton’s Laws, Centrifugal force, etc. Examples of models students will be building include a Power Plant, Military Tank, Construction Crane, Windmill, Sand Truck, Farming Plough, and various others!

The Learn to Juggle! class is a fun opportunity for kids and teens to connect, learn juggling, and develop life skills such as goal-setting and resilience. Students will spend time learning juggling technique and practice skills with a variety of juggling props. Campers will spend designated time Monday-Thursday working on a mini-show which will be performed for parents just prior to the end of Thursday's camp day.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play some of your favorite songs on ukulele? Camp Ukulele Level 2 can help you achieve that. Camp Ukulele Level 2 is a continuation of Camp Ukulele Level 1 and is meant for students who have taken the first camp and want to learn even more about the ukulele and how to play even more chords and songs. If you are not able to attend the level 1 camp, but would like to attend level 2, you should have some experience with the ukulele, know basics of how to strum, and how to play the chords C, F, A minor, and G. Ukuleles are available to use, or you can bring one from home if you have one of your own. During Camp Ukulele Level 2 you will also learn how to use digital tools, like GarageBand, to make your own music. We hope to see “uke” at Camp Ukulele Level 2!
