Using the LEGO® WeDo® 2.0 system, ignite the STEM spark in your child with this amazing camp. We are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math and want to instill this in your child too. Fostering their natural curiosity, kids, working in pairs, will explore logic, pattern recognition, and math concepts as they are challenged to build increasingly sophisticated designs. As they do so, they’ll also develop basic programming techniques using custom-made programming blocks in PCs. They will have hands-on experience effectively using gears, axles, and connector blocks in the robotic challenges. (No LEGO® is taken home)

Calling all fashionistas! Come dance and learn how extraordinary it is to be YOU! Wear pink or sparkles and come ready to move each day. Learn ballet, jazz, and hip hop styles of dance, and put steps together for fun routines to music from the Barbie movie. We will also create crafts to take home and play fun dance games. Ballet or jazz shoes are encouraged. Please bring a snack and water bottle each day. There will be a performance for family and friends for the last 15 minutes on Thursday.

This course is taught in Spanish This summer course is for the young learners. It is designed to ignite and reinforce their love for reading and writing in Spanish for 2nd to 4th grade students. Throughout this adventure-filled course, children will embark on a journey of discovery through engaging stories and creative writing activities.

In this Spanish course, created for incoming 2nd and 4th graders, we will dive into a fairytale world and art. We will explore all types of fairytale worlds and create art. This course will encourage literacy through the exploring lens of fairytales and art.

In this Spanish Course created for incoming 2nd and 4th graders we will explore the world of wild animals through books and crafts. This courses focuses in Spanish literacy and reading through the exploration of animals.

DASH Sports Summer Flag Football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a wear sunscreen, and bring a water bottle and a snack (spikes/cleats, and mouthguards are optional). Flag belts, and football are provided.

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. DASH Sports Summer Pickleball camps provide participants with an introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of serving, returning, volleys, overheads, and lobbing will be taught and practiced. Camps ends with games on the final day. Participants should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and snack. Campers also should bring a pickleball paddle (if you don’t have one, we will provide paddles). Balls and all other equipment are provided.

This program combines strategic STEM‐based activities with traditional Skyhawks soccer instruction and a focus on life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. STEM Sports® soccer curriculum gives students the opportunity to get behind the sport they love with modules on soccer ball design, throw‐in science, angles and goal‐line technology! Participants will also learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, dribbling and defense through skill‐based drills and scrimmages. Skyhawks puts the Sports in STEM.

Learn film editing basics and how to use Hollywood-style special effects techniques. Possible special effects learned in the class include Star Wars animated lasers, Harry Potter spell-like effects, and other blockbuster effects. Groups' final projects will be emailed to parents, or students may bring a USB drive on the last day. Student photography releases must be signed for this class.

With a primary emphasis on collaboration and communication, we'll embark on a shared learning experience. Through insightful readings, we'll uncover the essence of e-Sports and discover ways to engage beyond the confines of the classroom. Infusing the joy of gaming with a passion for learning, these two weeks promise an exhilarating journey filled with e-Sports fun! Get ready to merge the worlds of play and knowledge for an unforgettable experience! This courses is a part of a pilot program, Pick Your Price. Families have the option to select the price that works best for their individual situation. We know that youth benefit from participating in high-quality out-of-school time (OST) programs. OST programs keep kids safe and inspire them through continuous learning in safe and fun environments. We aim to remove financial barriers families may face when considering their involvement in youth programs. One of our strategies is a new payment option for families. When selecting the price for a Pick Your Price course, you can choose the best price for your situation. Regardless of the price selected, the course offered is the same for all students. There is no difference in instruction, supplies or what is offered in the course. We ask families to partner with us in this initiative and support one another by selecting the best price for their current financial situation.
